We are happy to announce that we are launching our 2025 Requests for Expressions of Interest (EOI) as part of our procurement process to find one or more partners to work alongside our organization.
SideBySide Children’s Village Society is currently at a crossroads, we have an outstanding property, operated by a small but extremely competent staff, and are looking to see how we can best utilize this space to meet the growing demands of children and youth in need in Surrey, B.C., and the surrounding area. Whilst at the same time generating sufficient revenue to ensure the longevity of our organization into the future, we are looking for long-term partners, whose missions are aligned, to help fill our Village and bring it to its maximum potential and at the same time assist to cover the operating cost of the houses and our operations.
We wish to enter a partnership that is more than a landlord/tenant relationship and whilst the houses are currently unoccupied and ready for use, the basement suites are fully occupied and running a very successful year intensive housing program, in conjunction with the Ministry for Child and Family Development, for youth that have aged out of the system (see brochure in the appendices for more detail).
