Donate in Tribute of a Loved One

Making a donation to SideBySide Children’s Village Society is a wonderful way to honour a friend or loved one who has passed away.

Simply choose your ‘Tribute Type’ on the second step of our online donation process. If you have questions about making a memorial donation, please contact our office at (604) 574-2964 or by email at [email protected]

By giving to SideBySide Children’s Village Society you will receive a tax creditable receipt (for donations of $20 or more) via email.

Donating in Memory of a Loved One

With this type of gift, during the online donation process you will provide the name of the person whom you are making the donation in memory of. The inside of a card will be inscribed with that name and ‘May the knowledge that this gift will aid foster children in need in British Columbia be of comfort to you at this time’.

The card will be mailed to the surviving relative that you specify during the online donation process.

Donating in Honor of a Loved One

Making a gift to SideBySide Children’s Village Society in the name of a special person in your life is a distinctive way to celebrate holidays or other special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries.

You will be asked to provide the name and address of the person during the online donation process. This will be inscribed inside a tribute card that we will mail to this person.

Both you and the recipient will share in the knowledge that a donation in their name is making a difference for a child in need.
